Design and Looks
The design of the phone features a slider form factor with the handset standing at 96x46x16 mm and weighs about 95g. The phone is light and sports a nice minimalistic design making it easy on the pocket.
The display on the phone is a 2.0 incher having a resolution of 144x176 pixels. The screen is capable of displaying 65K colors and displays good colors which are bright and vibrant enough.
The slider out is smooth and springs out a nice alphanumeric keypad. The phone features a 3.5 mm audio jack and dedicated music keys onboard that help in invoking the music player directly. The highlight of the device has been the shake control which allows users to control their music by shaking the phone to shuffle songs or flipping it over to put it across in a silent mode.
The external speakers on the device are again a stand out with a quality of audio output. The Auto EQ automatically adjusts the equalizer to optimize the sound of the music which is played currently.
The phone also includes a Radio with RDS which makes it a great companion on road for latest updates and if you're bored with your inbuilt library.
The camera on the phone is a 2 megapixel sensor which does a reasonable job with taking pictures. The photos are not great and lack exposure which is understood with the mere 2 megapixel sensor and lack of manual settings on the phone.
The internal memory on the phone comprises of 50MB with expansion slot available to upgrade the external memory to 16GB. Enough room for most of the users to keep their audio content on move.
On the communication front the phone features a quad band phone with GPRS and EDGE connectivity. For local connectivity the phone features Bluetooth and USB onboard.
Overall the phone is designed solely to be music player on the go with some added features. The phone targets users with music as a key feature on the phone and do not want to carry another separate player with them.
