Nexus S

Although a new mobile phone is revealed every other week in the Indian market, only a few manage to catch the attention. Out of the few, which have become the talk of the town these days, is Google’s latest offering - a mobile phone - manufactured by Samsung. Dubbed as ‘Nexus S’, the Smartphone was revealed by Google in the first week of December 2010. It is the first mobile phone to run on the latest Android 2.3 ‘Gingerbread’ Operating System. The 2.3 OS promises to take Nexus S one step ahead of other phones in its class, including its predecessor - Nexus One Smartphone. Google Nexus S Smartphone is expected to prove a stiff competitor to other ‘smart phones’ in the market, with a host of multimedia features.

Design and Looks
Google Nexus S flaunts a 4” Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen, with a resolution of 400x800. The curved-glass screen of Nexus S Smartphone displays as many as 16 million vibrant colors. The phone is made of generic black colored curvaceous case, with a sleeker design as compared to its predecessor. Nexus S is very thin, with dimensions of 63mm x 123.9mm x 10.88mm. Weighing 129 g, it manages to be lightweight as compared to other phones in its class, even though its screen is big. The phone comes with touch-sensitive controls, with improved user interface. The on-screen QWERTY keypad of the mobile phone enables the user to enter the text significantly faster than previous Android phones, that too with fewer errors.
